When is Food to be consumed
Food has to be consumed only when the hunger is prominent, stomach becomes clear, belching becomes clear, when faeces and urine are excreted,digestive power increases, the body becomes light and capable of perceiving the senses.In modern equations when enteric nervous system is working freely without the overlapping interference of sympathetic nervous system. Its note worthy that in clinical practice, hyper cholesterol / triglycerides situation get much better rectified by making a proper chewing and avoiding quick gulping down of food and careless talking while having food which denies proper digestion.

The list has been edited by Dr Sreejit based on the availability and practicability of modern day life and the varied geographics that the readers of this newsletter reside in Daily consumable include- Wheat [ beware of gluten intolerance ] , barley , condiments prepared of meat of animals of arid / dry land , immature radish,Indian goose berry as much as 15 grams to 20 grams daily, Termanlia chebula [ known as harad in North India- easily available ] in small quantity of 3 to 5 grams maximum , dry grapes , snake gourd, green grams ( green gram is a fantastic source of protein and tissue builder) Ghee , [fresh ] milk , honey , pomegranate and rock salt can also be used regularly Triphala powder [ mixed with honey and ghee in unequal quantity ] is daily doable ad very good effect on eye health NB Many on line readers make mistake of using triphala only as ghee and honey are forgotten.
